Message I figured that I didn't want to pay a lot for shelves with doors. I went to target and bought two prefab pantry/shelf sets:




These cost $50, but I don't think I paid that much for mine. To me these were much more tasteful than the Ugh-Me-Tough styling of the Craftsman Professional (but I also like those) and the price is 1/6 or less for essentially the same shelf space. You can buy 4 of them and still come out ahead. I get grease and dirt on mine all the time, but it wipes right off.

For the workbench I went all out and got a free-standing kitchen counter:



Very sturdy, with huge generous space on top compared to the usual workbench. Nice solid drawers. I bought extra stainless-steel-fronted drawers that fit underneath (they roll on casters directly on the floor).
